May 2007 At our end of season concert at the Wynd Theater in Melrose we were delighted to be able to donate a total of £3.000 to worthy Causes throughout the borders and beyond. Thank's to everyone attending our concerts who make it all possible.
All you fans of our vocalist, Alan Day, will be sorry to hear that he is leaving us to start a new career as a professional singer in Lanzarote. Alan leaves us in September so you only have three more gigs to hear him before he heads off to the sun. So if you're ever looking for a backing band, Alan ...................! We will obviously be very sorry to see Alan go, but we are also delighted to welcome back our female vocalist, Vicky Leigh, who will be appearing with us again at Livingston, after a break of several months.

Our visit to Penicuik was well attended and enjoyed by all. The Band is now preparing for its first visit to the Howden Park Centre, Livingston on 22nd April. Indications are that tickets are selling fast so please book your seats now if you want to be there!

Following another successful find raising dance for the Peebles Jazz Festival, the Band is now looking forward to return visits to Penicuik and The Eastgate Theatre, Peebles. See Diary for details.
