Chris Achenbach (piano)

After a training in classical music, Chris became a professional musician for many years, working with such diverse stars as Iris Williams and Bernie Clifton (including his ostrich!) Chris retired from the ranks of the professionals to become a music therapist, and joined the BBB in 1990. He is much in demand locally for many musical events from classical concerts to small jazz combos, has written and conducted two one-act operas, and is the author of a book on music groupwork. The BBB is delighted and privileged to have Chris as its Musical Director.

Eric Morris (drums)

Eric started playing tambourine and triangle in the Salvation Army, but was turfed out for missing his cues (believe it if you like!) Originally from Fife, he formed a small rock band which later worked in London & France. A reunion recently spawned a CD for which Eric wrote the lyrics. Eric joined BBB in 1993.

Dave Dick (guitar)

A long time member of BBB, Dave is the 'quiet man' of the rhythm section, but always seems to have a bus load of his own supporters at gigs! Dave has played with many jazz & swing bands in the Edinburgh & Borders areas.
